How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
My name is Scot Castellaneta and I started using a bath sponge instead of a wash cloth, a natural sponge taken from the Ocean or that plastic meshy thing when I married my wife Ewa (i.e. "Eva") back in 2002; she is from Poland. Ewa would ask relatives to send bath sponges habitually as it is a very common and a popular way to bathe in Europe. I discovered why as I, by association, began to use one routinely.
Very quickly I noticed how effective and efficient it was to lather up and really scrub your skin clean. I was hooked with no influence whatsoever. I enjoyed how invigorating the exfoliation aspect of the sponge is and the speed and ease of its use. " Hmmm" I thought to myself; "I am a guy" and I love this thing. One day, years after the introduction, I had that second eureka moment when I asked my wife for a new bath sponge and she said; "we are out"! I said; "where can I buy one"? Well, I could not buy one, because they did not make them here anywhere near the way European's did, so I wanted to provide a new and improved "Skin-Sational" product in America for America. Skin Triks was born.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
The way our bath sponge exfoliates, one, we tested many materials and we came up with an ergonomic, durable product that does not fall apart and has microdermabrasion effects as well as extreme lathering effects. That is what our duel sided Spongee' products are all about. The SpongEEZe easily are cleaned with a re-lathering and rinse right in the shower (after its use) and it dries quickly for a pleasant re-use that lasts for a suggested 30 to 60 days… but possibly more. Our SpongEEZe also store neatly in the shower importantly. Why, you may ask? Well this is key... to continually condition your skin daily, not just your face, but your whole body! Scrubbing off dead skin cells has been proven effective in health and wellness and that proper exfoliation promotes healthy vibrant skin. That is the "Skin Trik": routine daily exfoliation of one’s skin. Feel the Skin-Sation… It's Working.

We are Located in Glenview Illinois you can call our office for Wholesale orders. We have our SpongEEZe in approximately 12 retail locations around the Chicagoland area and our products are sold on our web site: SkinTriks.com, on Amazon and Groupon.
